ok, since we have to blog about all the lectures we were supposed to go to this semester or eother substitue lectures, let me write one about the genographic research presentation. heres how i remember it. I was rushing to freshman seminar class from work, and after texting a friend who has class with me, i was told to meet in the auditorium in the schoool of business. we were supposed to be there to get info on genographic research with some guy. i was a little late so i couldn’t locate Professor Griffin. lol. also i didn’t get an attendance card. but i took a few pics incase i had to prove i had shown up. well, first of all the guy took way to long and at the end he tried to speed through the resentatiion. secondly, the presentation was extremely boring. i remember taking a picture of the funniest slide. the slide showed the speaker making a funny face while doing…hmm something! i dont even remember! but he was talking about studying. in africa. and how all this research was helping with a lot of things. the weird thing was that i was wondering who is doing all the research!!?? was it only him? i mean there were many pictiures of research being done in Africa. but he was the only one doing it!! and i thought well it must not be a very big organization hostong the research if they have the same guy who does the research and studies doing all the speaking and visiting schools. It humored me a bit. 
and the whole time i was there i was thinking about leaving, but i knew work wasn’t any more fun than the lecture. so i just sat. well, i didn’t learn anything that day. i have no clue why. and i thought that it was actually the worst lecture we have been to for freshman seminar so far. i don’t plan to be doing any genographic research anytime soon. Sorry!
