So yesterday I woke up around 8am so I could go to my room and get ready to get on Bisonweb and register for classes for next semester. After doing a few things I went to my room and got on the computer. I was on bisonweb by like 8:30 am waiting until I was able to register at 9am. I know a few other students were doing the same thing. So, I look back at the available classes so I could make sure I had the CRNs written down and that the schedule was how I wanted it. Now I had all the classes I wanted and the teacher I wanted to take them with. The fucked up thing is that once I clicked the button at 9am the computer told me that I had a medical hold. A fucking medical hold!!! OMG!! this was too much for me to handle. I was already upset that I had lost my keys the previous night at the party in the valley (in celebration of obama’s victory). So, my friend and i walked to the dreaded “A- building” where we came across a few other freshman who had experienced the same problem that we had. The lady tells me I owe Howard $10 for this flu shot i got the other day. Great, I thought. Why hadn’t they just sent the bill to me sooner. I get top my room and pay the bill online. However, I STILL cannot register for classes…
Now i’m frantic. OMG i had it all planned out and now I’m going to get stuck with the BS classes! So I run back to the A-building, wait ont the line again, and the lady tells me I must go to the student health center. OMG!! Now I’m irate!! I’m crying and wondering why this has happened to me. I have to go to work at 10am, but school comes first. So I call my job and tell them I will be an hour late. After the health people tell me that I must come back next week for a measles shot because the titers showed that I was not immune to measles, they said they would temporarily remove the hold from my account. Well…ofcourse all the fucking classes i wanted were closed. So, now I only have 10 credits so far and I’m going to have to go through the hassle of getting overrides into classes. Well, i guess I will do what I must…..
